Job Description

Our client, a Global Investment company based in Limassol, is Looking for bright individuals (recent graduates welcome to apply) to be part of their Risk Team, working as a Junior Risk Analyst for European Operations of the company. Candidates will be working in shifts so they need to be able to work independently as well as part of the team. Technical and/or financial backgrounds are most suitable for these roles. Candidates are expected to take initiatives, be efficient and work on multiple projects at the same time for Risk Department. This role is of high responsibility and the right candidates will benefit from comprehensive training (Technical and Forex industry) and career progression.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data analysis to improve and enhance company’s risk framework
  • Monitor pricing and execution
  • Proactively keep track of relevant news that might impact company’s trading positions and strategies
  • Clearly communicate risk data and positions to key internal stakeholders
  • Report risk violations to the Head of Risk and the trading department
  • Proactively identify, capture and evaluate risk incidents
  • Analyse orders/quoting behaviour of company’s electronic execution
  • Collaborate with software developers to develop/maintain tools
  • Monitor regulatory capital limits

Requirements:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in either Economics/Mathematics/Computer Science
  •  Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  •  Basic understanding of pricing and the ability to understand trading strategies
  •  Strong experience using excel
  •  Collaborate with software developers to develop/maintain risk tools
  •  Excellent numerical skills
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  •  Ability to make informed decisions in fast paced, trading environment
  •  Shift work required to cover 24/5
