Our client, a leading IT Technology company is looking to recruit a Cybersecurity Engineer for their offices in Nicosia.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, implement and upgrade security measures and controls
- Implement, manage and maintain security systems for new and existing technologies
- Accept customer calls, alerts and escalations, maintain case ownership, and keep customers informed of progress
- Maintain clear understanding of the interdependencies that problem, change and configuration managements processes have
- Work with vendors to troubleshoot issues
- Evaluate and learn new technologies
SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English language.
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work with deadlines and cope with the consequent pressure
- Energetic and enthusiastic
- Self-confident, Self-motivated and quick learner
- Proven analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work in a team environment/good teamwork skills.
- Excellent working experience on the Windows and Linux operating system environments

QUALIFICATIONS
- University Degree or College Diploma in an IT field, preferably with specialization in Information Security.
- Certification in any of the following technologies is not mandatory but it will be considered as an advantage:
- Check point Firewall CCSA/CCSE
- Linux (Linux+, LFCS, LFCE)
- Windows (MCSA, MCSE)
- CompTIA Security+
- CompTIA Network+
- Cisco CCNA
- Imperva Web Application or Database Firewall
- IBM/ISS SiteProtector, Network Intrusion Detection
- McAfee Security Specialist (CMSS) or Security Professional (CMSP)
