On behalf of our client a leading Forex company,we are currently seeking to recruit a motivated candidate for the position of Drupal Developer for their offices based in Limassol.
Job Description:
- Develop and maintain web applications
- Design and build websites
- Produce, modificate and maintain the websites and web application’s user interfaces
- Provide accurate timing estimates on work
- Contributing to documentation (instructional,pitch and technical specification)
- Contributing to the company development standards working closely with the Head of Development
- Constantly seeking to develop yourself by learning new technologies and keeping abreast of markets develeopments
Person Specification:
- Strong client-side coding skills and experience in HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Hands on experience applying web standards (W3C) and best practices.
- Solid understanding of using grids, typography and responsive design techniques.
- Minimum 3 year experience in building websites using Drupal CMS
- Good understanding of Drupal internals (Content Types, Views, Modules and Themes).
- Ability to use AJAX with restful APIs.
- Experience with jQuery, Angular, Backbone or similar frameworks.
- Ability to follow OOP principles in JavaScript development.
- Experience with using version control systems SVN/GIT.
- Working knowledge of Linux systems.
- Must be fluent in English
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position
- Self-motivated
- Extreme attention to details
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Working in a collaborative environment with tight schedules
- Willingness to learn and excitement about emerging web technologies
