Job Description

On behalf of our Client, an Insurance Company, we are looking for an experienced individual for the position of the System Administrator/ Programmer for their offices based in Nicosia.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Focus on the design, support and programming of database structures within the organization 
  • Plan, manage and maintain databases within the organization 
  • Maintain and upgrade database systems 
  • Analyze data quality and usage 
  • Contributing to database design 
  • Setting up and testing new databases 
  • Monitoring database efficiency 
  • Maintaining the security and integrity of information 
  • Creating complex query definitions that allow data to be extracted 
  • Prepare users by conducting training; providing information; resolving problems.
  • Provide information by answering questions and requests.
  • Support database functions by designing and coding utilities.
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards

PROFILE:

·         A Bachelor degree in Information Technology / Computer Science

·         At least 2 years of relevant industry experience

·         Thorough understanding of the design and implementation of management software, database management, application integration, program testing and business analysis

·         Experience in SQL administration, querying, development and programming

·         Good systems and process analysis

·         Fluency in Greek and in English

Working hours: Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 13:00 & 13:30 - 16:30 

                             Friday: 08:00 - 14:00
