Our client, a Payment Services Company in Larnaca is looking for an IT infrastructure officer.
Responsibilities:
Providing IT support for all users, including remote offices
Supporting network and servers, including backup and disaster recovery procedures
General administration and maintenance of all IT equipment
Administration of backup procedures and policies
Administration of network security
Documentation of all necessary reports for security committee
Incident handling
Responsible to implement a monitoring system
Responsible of the migration and expansion of The Company's server architecture
Providing technical support for web projects, including company website
Assisting in user IT training, including IT policies, software etc.
Maintaining IT records e.g. licenses, and procedures
Maintaining and upgrade of all IT hardware and software
Working knowledge of the n-tier architecture
Develop and maintain front end and business tier modules required to support all future white labels
Deliver process documentation when required
Designing environments to support both production and staging
Assist in design Load balancing and IT contingency measures
Design and support robust build, systems for multi-tier applications
Produce secure scalable, cost effective cloud based infrastructure
Firewall management using Clowdflare
Take ownership of existing AWS cloud hosting service
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role
IT Client/Server Experience
Adequate knowledge of web-services and cloud hosting services
Ability to write technical documentation
Fluency in English
Must have degree/diploma in Computer Science /IT security/Networking or Similar
Professional qualification would be desirable (CCNA,CCNP,MCSA,MCSE)
AWS accreditation is a preference but not an essential
Excellent attention to detail, good understanding of PC's, able to follow processes, willing to learn and develop skills
Must be willing to cross train on all The Company's products and other areas of development and learn new skills
Being ambitious and wanting to enhance their ability by continual learning both during work and in own time
Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized
Strong attention to detail
Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
Be able to manage multiple projects at once
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
Willing to travel and provide onsite maintenance
Working hours 08:30 to 18:00 with 1.5 hrs lunch
