Must have at least 3 years of experience in medium to large global enterprise environment.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Monitor, troubleshoot & support Windows servers and services, including Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Lync/Skype for Business
Set-up/Install new server hardware & software according to existing standards & procedures.
Integrate and deploy new systems and applications
Provide technical support to the callcenter and marketing employees
Provide advanced support to technology department
System experience necessary:
• Microsoft operating systems. Configuring and installing client and server software – 2008/ 2012 / 7
• Exchange 2010 / 2013 / O365.
• Microsoft Lync.
• Backup systems.
• Linux -- advantage (Redhat / CentOS)
• Understanding of server hardware -- HP and Dell
• VMWare ESXi and Vcenter
• HTTP servers – advantage (nginx, apache)
Network experience:
• Thorough understanding of the basics (DNS, DHCP, HTTP, principals of IPSEC VPN)
• Understanding of firewall/UTM working principals
• Understanding of network infrastructure (vlans, topology, NAT, routing) -- advantage
• Network security – checkpoing/sophos/palo alto -- advantage
• Knowledge in Cisco switches / routers -- advantage
