Due to the expansion of our international clients office, we seek to employ an ambitious and highly motivated individual with the following requirements to join their team in Nicosia.
Job Description:
ManManage two local companies accounting end to end inc
- Quarterly audit process with local/ global auditors (EY)
- Monthly management accounts and budget variance process
- Monthly and quarterly reporting pack and control account reconciliations
- Manage weekly / monthly cash flow reporting. Banking
- Manage local AP/AR functions
- VAT/VIEs returns etc
- Support the global financial controller to coordinate internal control process
- Support the global financial controller to review and aid the global procurement process

Manage the working capital function for two UK operations (only one initially)
- AP function to include invoice approval process/posting/payment
- AP periodic reconciliations. Monthly and quarterly
- AR function to include invoice recording/query resolution/debt collection
- Cash and banking functions to include bank reconciliation statement/cash flow reporting / posting of bank charges, interest and any other related process.
- - Liaison with local UK teams to ensure perfect alignment of deadlines/reporting required and all expectations
- - Manage one accountant and two finance assistants initially
- - Any other duties as requested by the Global Financial Controller and Corporate CFO
Requirements:
- Qualified ACCA.
- Two to three years experience.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments.
- Excellent knowledge of English language both verbal and written
