On behalf of our client, which is in the business of development of applications and IT support services for the FX industry worldwide, we are currently recruiting for an IT Support Assistant
This is an exciting role and opportunity for someone to be part of a growing team. The role will be based in their Limassol office.
Responsibilities
- Lead communications with technical development team, third party vendors and client business team to resolve issues and manage updates and rollouts.
- Engage with Client’s IT teams to ensure projects are delivered in a supportable manner.
- Handling Client enquiries related to changes to their setup.
- Continually look for opportunities to refine and improve operational procedures to ensure support is provided in a consistent way.
- Building a solid relationship with existing and new clients.
- Sending clients updates, new available features.
- Distributing information and requirements from other departments to clients.
- Representing the company at expos.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related discipline.
- BSc/BEng in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or any other relevant field will be considered as an advantage.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Communication skills
- High proficiency in English (spoken/written).
- Highly desired to speak more than one language
- High discipline in communicating with customers, vendors and internal team.
- High skills in working within a dynamic team
- Patience and ability to focus and perform under pressure
- High proficiency in English (spoken/written).
- Understanding the Financial Markets
- Experience and/or knowledge in the FX industry is highly desired in a way you’ll have a good idea of what the FX industry business and operation is all about and what application providers will be offering brokerage firms to support and enhance their operation.
Note: We will ensure all adequate training will be given, however a high level knowledge of the industry is highly desired.
