Job Description:
An International firm that operates in the energy and oil sector is looking to recruit an Accountant for its expanding offices in Limassol/Cyprus.
Job Responsibilities:
· Managing bank accounts and payments
· Preparing daily cash statements
· Recording financial transactions
· Daily accounts reconciliation
· Preparing VAT & Tax Reports (Social insurance, Income tax)
· Bookkeeping duties
· Prepare monthly management accounts
· Assist with audits
· Liaise with banks and other local authorities
· Prepare monthly management accounts
· Perform other general duties as needed
Job Requirements:
· University degree in Finance, Accounting or related subject
· LCCI higher level
· At least 2+ years of experience in a similar position
· Ability to work independently and taking initiatives, as well as multitasking
· Computer savvy- Excellent knowledge of Excel
· Excellent detail-oriented and organisational skills
· Enthusiastic team player
· Flexible and willing to take up new challenges and opportunities
· Fluent in English and Greek, Russian (will be consider as an advantage)
