Job Description

Physical Education Teacher 

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic teacher who is able to engage with all students and deliver high quality PE lessons. We are looking for an individual who can deliver a broad programme of sports lessons to all Key Stages, including GCSE PE. The successful applicant will be expected to commit to extra-curricular activities and forge positive relationships within the local community in order to promote inter-school sports fixtures.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this position you must hold a BA (Hons) in Secondary Physical Education/BSc in Sports Science or equivalent and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)/Post Graduate Certificate in Education (International), iPGCE. 

Other Requirements
  • All teaching appointments are subject to ratification by the Ministry of Education and Culture. This includes a clear criminal record, health check and the right to work in an EU member country.
  • Teachers with degrees gained from universities outside Cyprus or Greece will be required to have their qualifications approved through a process involving submission to KYSATS (the regulating body for academic awards).
