We are expanding our new business entity in Limassol (Cyprus), hence looking for a local Financial Officer (banking)
Functions:
- Preparing and sending invoices for payment
- Conducting bank transactions. Bank reconciliation
- Preparation and executions of bank account application forms when necessary and communication with all banks whether in Cyprus or abroad
- Processing of invoices, preparing documents for banks and clients
- Checking of closing documents
- Checking for compliance issues of the outward and inward clients’ transactions
- Performing the due diligence and KYC procedures
- Opening and management of bank accounts
- Preparing and forwarding reports relating to clients’ inquires (i.e. bank references, reply to auditors’ requests, etc.)
- Compiling various statistical reports
- Making reports to senior management
- Cooperating with offices abroad
- Specific projects which may rise from time to time
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in finance field 3+ years,
- Cyprus tax and reporting system knowledge
- fluent Russian and English languages, Greek language is highly appreciated.
- Cyprus/EU citizenship preferably
