Job Description

On behalf of our client, a trusted technology provider to the global financial services industry, we are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Software Developer for its Limassol office.

Responsibilities:

·         Work closely with system analysts and regulatory compliance experts

·         Troubleshoot and review software

·         Test and debug software to ensure precision and efficiency of code

·         Prepare internal documentation of new implementations

·         Develop new components for the current platform

The candidates should be able to demonstrate:

·         Excellent command of the English and Greek language, both verbal and written

·         Team spirit, excellent problem-solving abilities and willingness to study and develop

·         Dynamism and ability to deliver results in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a reputable university
  • At least 2 years of experience in software development
  • Previous experience with:
    • the Linux OS
    • version control systems(git or svn)
    • databases and SQL
    • PHP
    • MVC frameworks
  • Previous vast expertise in at least one of the below programming languages:
    • C#
    • JAVA
  • Previous expertise in at least one of the below scripting languages:
    • Perl
    • Python
    • Shell scripting (bash, csh, etc.)
  • Any previous expertise in the below will be considered as an advantage
    • Eclipse
    • Monodevelop framework
    • InteliJ IDEA
    • ETL tools
    • Web development (Javascript, jQuery, css, html
