The Company

Our client is Fund Management Company with offices in Limassol.  

On behalf of our client we are seeking to recruit for the position of Head of Compliance.

Job Description:

·         Responding to any Compliance inquiries

·         Design Company’s Policies and procedures related to compliance matters and AML matters

·         Review all Company’s policies and procedures in order to be in line CySEC’s requirements

·         Review company’s marketing/promotional material advising on amendments needed  

·         Handling clients’ complaints

·         Maintain the accuracy of compliance records, tests and training material

·         Give guidance for corrective measures where necessary and inform the Board of Directors

·         Prepare and maintain AML Program and AML checks

·         Monitoring of transactions

·         Receiving and maintaining the Internal Suspicion Reports

·         Preparing the Internal Evaluation Reports and reporting to MOKAS if needed

·         Monitoring the Company’s outsourcing arrangements

·         Provide training to employees

·         Liaising and Reporting to the Regulator

·         Assisting with the Internal Audit

·         Reviewing and drafting contracts, terms and conditions and any other legal documents

Qualifications and Experience Required: 

·         2 years of Compliance experience within a Cyprus regulated Investment Firm

·         Excellent knowledge of CySEC regulations for Investment Firms

·         Experience with GMRA and ISDA Agreements

·         University Degree in Law

·         Cyprus Bar Examination

·         Holder of CySEC Advanced Certificate

·         Fluent Greek and English

·         Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
