We are looking for a developer who will primarily be responsible for content creation/publication, development, enhancement, troubleshooting and maintenance services for our sites.
Below are the basic responsibilities of our website administrator (some of them will be performed on a daily bases while others only on demand):
– Set up mail campaigns using our email service provider
– Curate programming related articles from a pool of posts
– Handle the social media campaigns of our web properties
– Prepare and publish articles on our websites
– Use command line tools for various tasks
– Select among proposed sites to include as our partners
– Perform research and gather contact information
– Publish industry related news articles
– Maintain the health of our website content (remove spam comments etc.)
– Have the overview of our writing team and edit their articles
– Promote our articles to 3rd party websites
– Monitor all our sites health/performance, re-configure for optimal setup and speed
– Monitor server performance, work with the hosting provider support team to resolve problems
– Update wordpress backend, theme and plugins
– Update backend code to implement special functionality – required basic knowledge of PHP/CSS/JS/SQL
– Develop/Update server/client-side command line tools – required basic knowledge of Java/HTML
– Have the overview of our eBook publications (style and content wise)
– Perform styling changes to all our sites – required basic knowledge of PHP/CSS/JS/HTML
– Update/Configure site functionality (create popups, forms, landing pages, links, menus etc)
Location: Work remotely, from your own premises
Work hours: Flexible work hours, from 9:00 to 11:00 till 17:00 to 19:00
Salary: An attractive salary based on experience + bonus + medical insurance
The minimum requirements/skills for the specific position are :
– BSc in Computer Science or in relevant field
– Basic knowledge on : Java, PHP/MySQL, HTML, Linux, Windows, Office
– English speaking is a must
