On behalf of our client, a Fund Management with offices in Limassol, we are seeking to recruit for the position of Head of Compliance.
It is the company’s strict policy to follow compliance legislation thus eliminating any exposure of the Compliance Officer or the office in general.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
· Ensure that internal compliance procedures are in line with CYSEC’s guidelines by developing initiating, maintaining, and revising policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
· Manage the compliance department and ensure that they carry out KYC, AML and due diligence procedures and ensure that procedures are fully in compliance as per CYSEC’s guidelines.
· Prepare/Review and submit all reports related to KYC, AML, RISK and compliance CYSEC.
· Follow CYSEC’s circulars and develop and periodically review and update Standards of Conduct to ensure continuing currency and relevance in providing guidance to employees.
Requirements:
· University Degree in Law or Finance or Economics
· Previous experience of at least 3 years as a Compliance Officer in a CYSEC regulated company is a must
· Excellent managerial skills
· Fluent in English, Greek an advantage
· Very well organized with attention to detail
· Very well developed communicating skills
