Our client, a leading international software provider based in Nicosia, is looking for an Application Developer who will primarily be responsible for providing development, enhancement, troubleshooting and maintenance of financial software applications. If you are located in Larnaca or Limassol it is possible to work remotely, you only need to come to the office once a week in that case!
Responsibilities:
- Develops components/modules for our financial management solutions
- Identifies, troubleshoots and debugs defects in designated application code
- Proposes possible solutions to anticipated problems
- Confirms program operation by conducting tests
- Provides technical documentation for modules he is involved in
- Supports and assists the Services team
Skills required:
- University degree in Computer Science or in a relevant field
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in the IT or Financial Services industry
- Very good knowledge of C#, WCF, WPF, COM+, .NET Interop
- Very good knowledge of RDBMS design, development and performance tuning skills, especially for MS SQL 2005/ 2012
- Experience in distributed systems design and implementation (N-Tier)
- Experience in Financial Applications development on Microsoft Platforms
- Experience in writing software documentation
- Fluency in written and verbal Greek and English
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information, both orally and in writing
- Ability to interpret product specifications and develop appropriate software modules to meet these requirements
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team with constant cooperation and interaction
The working hours are from 09.00 - 18.00
