Our client is a big international Construction Company with a small office in Nicosia and they are now recruiting for an Accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Preparation and submission of VAT, VIES, Annual Tax Returns
- Reconciliations of client funds
- Reconciliation of invoices
- Bookkeeping
- Invoicing
- Personnel administration
- Quarterly reporting
- A lot of contact with the head office in Belgium
The working hours are 09:00 - 18:00
The company is offering a salary which is dependent on skills and experience
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree is a must (University degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics)
- Maximum 2 years experience as an Accountant
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel
- Excellent knowledge of the English and Greek language - both oral and written (Dutch / Belgium would be considered as a big plus)
- Proven analytical abilities, problem solving and investigative skills
- Excellent time management skills to perform efficient and effective work in a fast pace
- Very strong attention to details
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure
- Willing and able to work individually (the Accountant will be working alone at the office)
- Responsible and hard worker
- Loyal (long term commitment, also in the past)
- Willing to travel if needed
- Located in Nicosia
