Our client, a leading Financial Services organisation with offices across Cyprus is currently seeking to recruit an experienced candidate for the position of Regulatory Counselling Officer (Compliance Department) for their expanding team in Nicosia. Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the drafting and updating of policies and procedures to reflect regulatory requirements in Cyprus or other jurisdictions
- Monitor regulatory developments for internal training of policy owners and their teams
- Report to the Head of Compliance, providing regular, detailed updates on new regulatory policy
Key Skills/Experience:
- Ideally educated to degree level in Law or related field
- Minimum of 2+ years of research and consulting experience in relation to financial regulation legislation
- Fluency in Greek & English is essential (Written & Spoken)
- Previous experience of working for a well-respected Consultancy firm in Cyprus will be considered an advantage
- CySEC Certification/s considered a significant advantage
- Excellent team player with attention to detail
