Our client is a Newly Established Trading and Distributor Company of Fast Moving Consumable Goods. The company holds a promising future with some of the market’s experts on board. SUMMARY OF FUNCTION 

The main function of the Sale Rep is the sale of all Company’s product categories that are launched in the market from time to time in the assigned outlets. The sales rep is responsible to maximise the sales of all the Company’s product categories, to maintain all product categories always available, in good quality and visible and to maintain excellent business relations with retailers.   

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

·         Ensures physical visits to outlets assigned to him/her as per the agreed call frequency and route schedule.

·         Maximises the sales of all the Company’s product categories that are distributed in the market and achieves sales and availability targets per product category.   

·         Checks stock levels and carry out necessary stock takes at every outlet visit and maintains optimum stock levels per product category as per the Company’s stock holding policy.

·         Ensures effective implementation of the FIFO policy in the outlet warehouse and on shelves to keep quality of all products at good quality levels, identifies any quality issues and reports to the Management.    

·         Carries out the necessary financial checks in each outlet and ensures adherence of the outlet to the credit control policy of the Company. 

·         Implements effectively all the sales processes and procedures during outlet visits as per the Company’s policies.

·         Ensures effective placement and maintenance of merchandising materials in outlets visited as per the Company’s monthly cycle activities and keeps record of them.

·         Implements planograms and maintains shelf space levels as per the Company’s guidelines and in general endeavours to maximise visibility of all product categories. 

·         Develops and maintains excellent business relations with retailers by resolving any issues in relation to out of stock incidences, rush orders and by demonstrating good behaviour.

·         Keeps record of all the correct information of each outlet he/she visits and reports the opening of any new outlets.

·         Prepares necessary market and other reports as requested by the Management.

·         Collects information and reports about competition in terms of promotional activities and provides insight information for new product launches.

·         Checks and keeps the appropriate stock levels in his/her vehicle as per the Company’s stock holding policy.  

·         Maintains excellent personal relationships with his/her colleagues in the sales and marketing department, warehouse and in general with the Management.

Requirements:

 At least 3-4 years of experience in Sales preferably in the FMCG sector with excellent sales and negotiation skills

·         Competitive, ambitious, articulate and able to communicate in a friendly and helpful manner

·         Ability to work on your own and as part of a team

·         Ability to develop in-depth knowledge about the products and the market

·         Fluency in both Greek & English
