Job Description
Our client is a London based Principal Lender that provides bridging loans secured on residential and commercial real estate. The company structures and manages syndicated investments in the London property market for itself and its clients with a growing portfolio of over 30 properties in London.
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support the dynamic and fast growing businesses in the UK and in Cyprus.
This role will provide support to the Financial Controller being responsible for:
• Maintenance of financial records of both businesses (assistance with / overseeing bookkeeping)
• Preparation of Financial Statements (based on UK law)
• Preparation of Consolidated accounts
• Preparation of VAT returns / Tax returns (UK compliance)
• Monthly management reporting for internal management needs and external stakeholders
• Cashflow management
• Ad hoc financial analysis / evaluations as require

Required Qualifications
About you:
• Newly Qualified / 1-2 years post qualified Accountant
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in an Accounting firm / Finance department
• Strong IFRS knowledge
• Good Excel / spreadsheet modelling skills
• Knowledge of Navision would be an advantage
• Excellent communication written and spoken communication skills in English
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to manage and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Team player
