Our client is an established financial services company. We are seeking experienced developers to join their team
Job Description
- Developing stand-alone applications and plug-ins for the trading platform
- Developing front-end for interoperability with server plugins
- Integrating with external APIs
- Creating tools for reporting on trading data
- Creating protocols for communication between applications
- Testing the product in controlled situations
Required Skills & Experience
- BSc/MSc in computer science, engineering or any other relevant degree
- At least 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar position and in design patterns
- Very good working knowledge of Modern C++ (C++11)
- Very good working knowledge of Boost ASIO and Java 8
- Working knowledge of the following will be considered a strong plus: FIX protocol; MT4 Server API; C++ with asynchronous programming, low latency programming, profiling / Google benchmark, concurrency; Java 8 EE web-service architecture and REST, web applications such as JavaScript framework and web sockets; version control systems such as Git
- Proactive, sharp and efficient
- Ability to work autonomously
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
