Job Description
COMPANY
An international, media applications company , seeks to employ a high calibre and motivated individual to join the Company as Book keeper.
POSITION/DUTIES
The successful candidate will report directly to the Management of the Company, and the duties and responsibilities entailed to this position will generally include the following:
1. Bookkeeping. Prepare and process/post monthly journal entries in the accounting program
2. Liaising and assisting with company’s auditors during the annual audits. Gathering documents and evidential matter to prepare for the audit engagement
3. Monitor the balance of funds coming in; perform monthly reconciliation of bank accounts
4. Completing forms for the opening of bank accounts and liaise with the banks
5. Petty cash maintenance
6. General administration duties (filing, answering the phone)
7. Go to the income tax office to pay monthly PAYE, go the VAT office to submit forms, when needed, go to various couriers (e.g. Akis express) to send documents, buy office supplies and perform tasks of similar nature as needed.
8. Willingness to assist on any task that may arise to assist the company.
9. Being able to work on own initiative
QUALIFICATIONS
1. The candidate should hold a Higher diploma in Accounting or LCCI & have the relevant working experience (2-4yrs) Euros 1200-1500 gross
2. Good knowledge of EXCEL and Word
3. Fluent in English
4. Knowledge of SAP Business 1 will be considered an advantage
5. Detailed oriented, punctual, follow policies and procedures of the company
REMUNERATION
An attractive and competitive salary will be offered to the successful candidate (Max Gross Euro1200, depending on qualifications and experience), 12 salarie..
