Our client is a Specialised Service Provider to Non Performing Loans, part of a Global Private Equity Firm that is in the process of setting up offices in Cyprus, and they are looking to hire a Non-Performing Loans Trade Accountant to be part of their team based at their offices in Nicosia.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role will include the following responsibilities:
Responsible for the correct representation of the Loan Portfolio in the books and records of the company based on IFRS 9
Deep knowledge of the Banking and Collections system of the Company
Responsible for the Loan Asset related cash collection and bank account reconciliation and Loan asset Statutory regulatory reporting
Provide support and back up assistance to the Real Estate Owned ("REO") Trade Accountant
The ideal candidate will have:
Holder of ACA/ACCA qualification
BSc in Business Administration or similar area
At least 3 years of experience. Experience in similar positions will be considered an advantage
Master's degree would be considered an advantage
Excellent command of both the Greek and English language
Strong organization and communication skills
Attention to details
