One of our clients in Limassol, a group of companies, is looking for an experienced System and Network Server Administrator for their Forex Company within the group. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the company's local-internal network and computer systems. Forex background is a must.
Responsibilities:
Support, Upgrade, Maintain and administer local and/or wide area networks, applications, configurations, and internal systems
Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization
Troubleshoot systems and networks errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
Monitor and troubleshooting system performance, access and users network availability and check for weaknesses
Keep on track with necessary updates and perform data system backups and security measures in order to be protected at all times
Recommend any system changes, necessary equipment updates or network adjustments and new technology configurations
Review network and server's logs
Manage network and monitoring systems
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience working with an online-first business (Forex, Gaming, e-commerce, etc.) as a System and Network Administrator
University degree in IT, Computer Science or related field
Deep knowledge of Computer and Server Infrastructure, Networking, Routing and Switching
Experience with LAN/WAN, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, VPNs, Wi-Fi
Strong knowledge of backup and recovery practises, protocols and methodologies
Strong Planning, Organising and Multitasking Skills
Strong attention to detail with problem solving mind-set
Have the ability to review and testing performance frameworks and provide feedback
The working hours: 09:00 a.m. - 18:00 p.m.
