Our client is a Cyprus Investment Company (CIF), and a part of a global group offering access investments and professional technology solutions with headquarters in Limassol. They’re currently looking for a Head of Dealing on Own Account with 1 – 2 years experience in a similar role and the advance CySEC Certification.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitoring of all trading instruments and platforms;
- Monitoring and adjusting of overall trading instruments settings and parameters;
- Monitoring the feed to ensure smooth pricing on all trading platforms;
- Monitoring reception and transmission of orders to ensure proper execution for both, clients with the company and company with liquidity providers;
- Implementation of best execution monitoring policies and procedures according to MiFID II;
- Monitoring of the transaction flow for all clients with relevant investigations conducted towards irregular activity;
- Monitoring of financial market activity on a continuous basis across a range of asset classes;
- Monitoring of company’s overall portfolio with risk reporting related to trading;
- Preparation of reports as requested from the management;
- Liaising with third parties for both internal and external purposes to ensure a smooth and reliable trading experience for clients;
- Application of the code of Business conduct and company’s “Order Execution Policy”;
- Carrying out of ad-hoc duties as assigned by respective managers;
- Contribution towards a positive and dynamic working environment
Requirements
- A University graduate of Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business or any other relevant field
- Advance CySEC certification
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in foreign exchange and CFD products (usage of trading platforms MT4)
- Experience in using Bridging Tools is a must
- Direct experience with best execution monitoring
- Ability to manage exposures on several platforms
- Strong understanding of MS Excel
- Using (SQL) databases is a strong advantage
- Understanding of hedging mechanics;
- Previous experience with CySEC reporting (Quarterly Statistics, Best Execution etc.) is an advance
- Risk Management

- A strong character with confidence to be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Morning and afternoon shifts (latest until midnight)
- Fluent in English.
