Limassol
A Cyprus Investment Company is looking to recruit a Risk and Data Analyst. The candidate will get involved and, over time, assume responsibility for development and regular delivery of Risk, P&L and Valuation reports for a multi-currency investment portfolio.
The role also involves close interaction with the firm’s Financial Controller and Treasurer. In this capacity, the candidate will also work on projects related to setting up relationships and credit lines with banks, and resolving operational issues related to trade settlement and collateral moves.
Key skills required:
· ability to work with Russian financial statements and counterparties
· understanding of financial risk-management, information systems, and fund accounting
· excellent data analysis skills with Excel (VBA)
· experience with risk management systems and financial data vendors (e.g. Bloomberg)
· client focus and hands-on solution-oriented mind set
· interest in learning and applying new developments in information technology to the investment process
Additional:
· valid Cyprus/EU work permit is an advantage
· some experience with higher-level programming languages is an advantage (e.g. Python, SQL)
