An International giant specializing in the development and marketing of highly trafficked web properties, and a leader in its activity sector is searching for a Chargeback Dispute Specialist to join their fabulous team in Nicosia, Cyprus.
The Chargeback Dispute Specialist is responsible for reviewing and disputing chargebacks while ensuring the legitimacy of customer accounts and providing evidence according to the Mastercard & Visa resolution requirements. This means utilizing different bank systems, assessing the risk associated to an account, and providing/uploading necessary documentation in order to dispute an invalid chargeback. The specialist will also be tasked with tracking escalated cases and keeping note of their outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for reviewing and disputing chargeback claims and providing the necessary evidence to prove legitimacy of an account.
- Utilizing various bank systems to download necessary reports and upload dispute responses
- Provide a high standard of professionalism when communicating with banks in order to escalate chargeback disputes
- Documenting and following up on chargeback disputes after full investigation.
- Maintaining procedure manual with specific steps and protocols per banking relationship.
Requirements:
- Experience in ecommerce is an asset
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook are assets
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking to enable independent research and risk assessments.
- Strong organization skills in order to document and track all submitted dispute cases
- Ability to be detail oriented throughout repetitive tasks and a fast-learner are key attributes to succeed in this position.
- Previous research, troubleshooting, or investigation experience
- Excellent written communication skills (English)
- Ability to draft high quality written products that are comprehensive, accurate and tailored to the audience.
- Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner (PCI compliant knowledge is an asset)
- Understanding of transaction settlement process is an asset
