StaffMatters is working with a leading international online gaming and sports betting company that are in the process of expanding their operations to Cyprus. With over 500 staff and established in 1998, Cyprus is their latest addition to their network of offices.
They are looking to hire an experienced System Administrator to be based at their offices in Limassol.
The position will be responsible for:
Managing and support local Server, Network and office IT equipment.
Managing and maintaining VMWARE infrastructure;
Work with systems group to continually enhance reference system to optimally work with IT systems.
Monitor applications and servers using internally and commercially developed software and procedures. Ensure failover capabilities in the case of outages.
Install, upgrade and document new IT systems; servers and network equipment.
Day to day operation and maintenance of the corporate servers
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and/or experience
Working experience in Linux/Unix administration;
Good knowledge of management VMware infrastructure
Demonstrated experience in managing multi-vendor Unix system installations.
Knowledge in Network infrastructure management and administration, CCNA certificate is a plus.
Experience developing and implementing a disaster recovery plan is a plus.
Proven analytical skills, problem solving ability and debugging skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated time management and prioritization skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
The working hours will be Monday – Friday from 11am – 7pm.
The Company is offering a competitive salary of up to 2000 Euros gross per month based on experience plus company benefits.
